What happens at the first visit?<\/h5>

About an hour: we talk through your history, do a full exam and posture scan, explain what we found and how long it should take to improve, and treat you the same day if it's appropriate.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Do I need a referral?<\/h5>

No. You can book directly. Some HMO insurance plans need a referral from your doctor to cover the visit; we'll check for you.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

What should I wear?<\/h5>

Comfortable clothes you can move in, like gym wear. We'll provide a gown for any exam that needs one.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Does an adjustment hurt?<\/h5>

Usually not. Most people feel relief or simply pressure. Some feel mild soreness for a day, like after a workout. We'll always adapt to your comfort.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

What's the \"popping\" sound?<\/h5>

Gas releasing from the fluid in the joint when it moves, the same as cracking your knuckles. It isn't bones grinding, and an adjustment works with or without it.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Is chiropractic safe?<\/h5>

For most people, yes. We screen everyone for warning signs that need other care before treating, and we use gentle techniques for older patients, pregnancy and anyone with bone-density concerns.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

How many visits will I need?<\/h5>

It depends on the problem and how long you've had it. You'll get an estimate at your first visit. Our average plan is about eight visits, and many people need fewer.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Do you take insurance?<\/h5>

Yes. We're in network with most major PPO plans and accept auto-accident and work-injury claims. We verify your benefits before your first visit.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

What if I don't have insurance?<\/h5>

Our self-pay prices are listed on the Services page, starting with a $59 new patient visit. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Do I have to sign up for a package?<\/h5>

Never. You pay per visit. Our optional wellness membership is month-to-month and you can cancel any time.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
